Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using TryShadowing (operated by Groowing Co., Ltd), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
TryShadowing lets you practice English by shadowing publicly available YouTube videos: listening sentence by sentence, repeating, recording your voice, and receiving pronunciation feedback.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Provide accurate information when signing in.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, access it through unauthorized means, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Third-party content
Videos are hosted by YouTube and belong to their respective owners; your use of them is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. We do not host or claim ownership of that video content.
Your content
You retain ownership of recordings you create. Recordings are stored locally in your browser and are not uploaded to us. You grant us a limited license to process content only where needed to provide the service to you (for example, to score pronunciation) — pronunciation scoring processes audio transiently and does not store it.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pronunciation scores are automated estimates and may be inaccurate; they are for practice only.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes & termination
We may modify or discontinue parts of the service, and may update these terms; continued use means acceptance of the updated terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
