Talking about yourself is the best way to help you settle into the interview

and also calm your nerves.

And reason number two why they will ask you either of these questions is

because they want to assess your communication skills early on in the job interview.

If you start rambling or you are unable to speak clearly and confidently,

Tip number one, keep your answer to approximately 60 seconds.

One minute in duration is all it needs to be.

stands for the four things you are going to talk about in your answer.

Write these down.

S, the skills you have that match the job description.

E stands for details of any experience you can bring to the company.

If this is your first ever job role and you don't have much experience,

change experience for educational background.

A is fantastic.

This stands for brief details of any achievements you have attained in your life

so far.

Achievements tell the hiring manager you have a track record of success.

And finally, T stands for the type of person you are

and what you will do in the role to add value to their company.
