Keith from England takes viewers on a beginner travel role-play: navigating an airport, hailing a taxi, and checking into a hotel while practising key English travel phrases.
This video follows Keith, a British English teacher, on a simulated trip to a new city. The action moves through three real-world travel settings — the airport, a taxi ride to the Hilton Hotel, and a hotel check-in desk — and at each stop Keith models short, practical phrases such as "Where's the taxi rank?", "We have a reservation," and "What time is breakfast?" The role-play format means learners hear both sides of a conversation, making the language feel immediately usable rather than abstract.
For shadowing practice, this video is excellent material. Keith speaks at a measured, deliberate pace, pauses after key phrases to invite the viewer to repeat ("Go on"), and uses clear standard British pronunciation throughout. The sentences are short and structurally simple, so a shadower can match the rhythm without losing meaning. There is also a healthy amount of natural filler ("Hmm," "Right," "Lovely") that gives learners exposure to authentic spoken cadence.
The content is labelled A1 but the conversational coaching layer — where Keith explains why you say something, not just what to say — makes it equally rewarding for A2–B1 learners who want to lock in travel vocabulary with confidence. By shadowing this video, learners will internalise polite question forms, basic hotel and transport language, and the natural rhythm of short British English exchanges.
