I got to talk to you backstage.

And I have to say, oh, I love your British accent.

-Thank you. -Oh, yes.

But you were originally from New York.

-Yes. Yeah.

-I want to clarify for, yes, New Yorkers out there. Yeah.

-When did you -- when did you move out?

-It was kind of a back and forth until I think I was six years old.

And then, yeah, we've been in London my whole life, but my -- Yeah, my dad's from Oklahoma.

My mom's from California, so not British really at all apart from the accent, which is kind of random but-- -We all sound different. It's hilarious.

-Yeah. I've got two British sisters, so that's, yeah.

-I have a picture of you young in New York here.

You're on your way to the Statue of Liberty.

-Oh, my gosh. -Here's baby Ella in New York looking like -- you really look like you're having a blast.

-Yeah, yeah. -Yeah.

I was on the way to the Statue of Liberty and I was not enjoying myself.

But now I -- I would love it.

So I don't know why I was so upset.

-Look at how cute. Come on. That is cute.

Ah, yeah, And Belmont, we were talking backstage.

I said, do you have any early jobs that we could talk about, like when you first started out and you told me about this job you had that I think is -- everyone should know about this.

It's fascinating.

-Well, so I -- I started working for cash when I was 12.

Every summer I had three jobs.

I mean, I was really going after it.

I was like a little league umpire.

I was a caddie in golf.

And then I worked at an Italian restaurant where three of the owners' names were all Tony.

-Fantastic.

-Which is like a very Italian thing for me to be doing.

-That's fantastic. Yes. -But...

-Shout out to Tony. -Yeah, shout out to Tony.

-And Tony. -Yeah. And Tony, and Tony.

-And Tony. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

-But my first real job where I got like a paycheck was when I started modeling in Chicago.

-Yeah. Now, this is what I'm talking about.

-Yeah. And this is like, you know, it's such a glamorous life.

I started out, I would drive up five or six hours into Wisconsin and, you know, you'd be there at a warehouse and they'd have like a rack of like 200 T-shirts, and you would just spend the day putting them on and off all day long.

And so I was a T-shirt model and I would -- I would get the picture and I'd send it to my mom and I'd be like, "Hey, check this out.

It's on sale."

-You give her a discount, but I'm going to show you guys the photo of Belmont's modeling.

And you could tell me by applause how amazing is this guy? Look at this. This is -- -Check that out. -Fantastic.

- -Pretty good. -Yeah.

- -Yeah.

-How are we even sure that this is you?

-What are you talking about? -We'll never know.

-This is my favorite thing I've ever seen.

This is so good.

-I think I thought my face was in it, so I was really smoldering.

And then we'd go online and it was like, "Oh, yeah. I mean, my chin was perfect."

Everyone that I know is watching this show and obsessed with it. Is it big?

It's just been, yeah, it's been really surreal.

It's been really crazy.

-Yeah, a lot of the support has been very positive and we're so proud of the show.

It's been a very cool couple of weeks for us.

How do we describe "Off Campus"?

It's a -- It's a love story about hockey and about music.

-It's a -- It's a college group of friends.

There's an ice hockey team.

We have Hannah and Allie. I play, yeah, Hannah.

Music, hockey. We've got all the vibes.

-Yeah, there's like, uh, it's a really great ensemble.

There's great friendships.

There's -- There's great family moments.

There's love, there's sex, there's hockey, there's music.

-There you go. You hit all the bases right there.

Yeah. There's a lot of Easter eggs, too, from a lot of classic romantic comedies.

-Yeah.

-Which ones stick out in your head?

And you go, "Oh, yeah, that's kind of the closest thing that we are to."

-I like to say Troy and Gabriella "High School Musical."

-There is a kind of high school musical thing happening.

-We gotta get him to sing at some point.

-Oh, no, please.

-I think that will have to happen.

-I know they're gonna make me sing it at some point.

-Yes, you have to.

Can you sing? Are you going to?

-It doesn't matter. -I can sing.

Yeah, they're gonna make me do it.

-They are definitely going to make you do it.

So, I mean, like, I'm halfway there.

-One of your other co-stars in the show.

-Has to be-- -Oh, yes.

-Your bike helmet. -My helmet?

-Your helmet. You are wearing a helmet for a lot of this.

-Oh, yeah. And Hannah looks super cool doing it.

-Safety, yeah. Safety is sexy, everybody.

And, uh, did you think that you'd be wearing a bike helmet this?

-I honestly, it was such a meme to us when we were filming.

-I was hilarious. -I love that helmet.

-Oh, my God. -It was such a joke.

And like the fact that everyone's kind of caught on to it is making me die. It's the funniest thing ever.

-Oh, yeah. -So I had to.

That's Belmont also wearing a helmet.

-I put the helmet on sometimes when she lets me.

-Ah. -Only yeah.

-That's a good co-star. -It's a very special prop.

-And the little umbrella was put in my helmet by Mika on the last scene of the show.

So I was wearing that helmet till the very end.

-Yeah, she wears it a lot, even when we're not filming.

-That was so smart. -They'll go last looks.

-The show takes place in a college, and there are a few fun phrases that come up throughout the show.

And I was wondering if I could show everyone here some "Off Campus" expressions.

And then you can explain what each one means.

-Great. -Absolutely.

-Uh, phrase one.

Uh, are people gonna think I'm a puck bunny?

-Ah! The puck bunny. -What is a puck bunny?

-Well, the puck bunny is the women that support the team.

It's the girls that travel, and they all sit together, and they root for Briar U.

That, um, collection is the puck bunnies.

-And I think Tom used an actual-- -I believe it's a real term.

-It's a real term? -Yeah, yeah.

-A puck bunny. -Yes.

-Alright, I love that. I'll start using it. Yeah.

-Great. -Great.

-Uh...I think we found your drink-drink.

What does that mean?

-This is an alcoholic drink, and it's your favorite drink, I think of all time. So for Hannah, the piña colada.

I would say the same thing for me.

Um, but yeah, it's the drink-drink.

-So, that's the drink-- -Emphasis on drink.

-That's you like, like you're the one that you go like, "Oh, I love that, that -- that means that's your favorite?

-Yeah, yeah, yeah. -Your number one.

-Yeah. -What is yours?

-She discovers it in a scene. A piña colada.

Piña colada. That's a pretty good drink-drink.

-It's really good. Yeah.

During the show, actually, though, we had to drink, um, vanilla almond milk with orange juice.

-Congratulations. -Yeah. It was-- -It was acting. Welcome to acting.

-Thank you. Guys, don't drink that.

-It was gross. -No, that's not the drink-drink.

-Uh, this phrase, it says the song is so sexy.
